Colorado Springs short sale time lines

 I currently have 6 short sales under contract. While short sales in Colorado Springs have always take longer than traditional transactions, they are taking even longer to get back a response from the banks.


It is getting infuriating for me, my clients, and the buyers to wait for 80 days in some cases just to get a response. It s a practice in patience, and I hate patience. If you are a buyer, you need to start thinking in terms of how many months until closing.

Short sales often are good deals for a buyer, just go into it with your eyes open and have a place to stay in the mean time. One other thing is dont write multiple offers, that just isnt the way to do things.
